Block #47: Queen Anne's Lace
Had my eye on this block for a while, but hadn't gotten around to it before. Lovely and clean, this block is vaguely familiar to me. I've actually worked the centre circle many times before, deconstructed from the square around it, making it as a coaster. I'll have to take a photo for you :)
How did you do round 6? I am so stumped when it says five times after the first two single crochets. Please help!
ReplyDeleteI just did 5 single crochets between the corners and between the groups of 3single crochets with chain twos after everything... It looks like the picture but will that mess everything up?
ReplyDeleteI figured it out never mind.
ReplyDeleteDid you find an error or did you just work at it? When she says "5 times" in that 6th round, she's referring to the instruction:
Delete2ch, miss next 3dc group, 1dc into sp between next two 2dc groups
So you repeat that instruction 5 times. It's like a little pattern within the round, that you then repeat twice again.
(Sorry for not replying sooner - absolutely SWAMPED this last week with darned bookkeeping homework! So glad that you worked it out :-) )
