I love the Willow square. As evidenced by how many I made last year. I wanted to make it into a cushion, so I'm doing a front panel of 9 Willow squares, and then I have to figure out the back. I'm thinking maybe just a plain TR in the light colour (which is actually a very light grey and works better than the white that I was thinking), but now I'm thinking a little ripple in the grey with thin strips of the two different colours between them.

A little project...
I've picked up a little project.

I have a question... I did one of your squares you have on here and it looks perfect! There's just one minor detail i can't quite figure out. it won't lay completely flat but my stitches are all about the same and i don't have too many stitches either... And i don't know if I'm doing something wrong or not. please Help!
ReplyDeleteHi Emily :)
DeleteI suggest "blocking" your square. Lightly dampen your square and pin it to your ironing board, or a towel, gently stretching it into a "square" shape as you go. As it dries, the square will stay in that same shape, and voila - it should be lying flat :) Give it a go and let me know!
